UPCOMING EVENTS:

Souper Bowl of Caring - February 9, 2025

The Confirmation students will help Covenant participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring again this year, on Sunday, February 9. Please bring your donations (cash or checks made out to Covenant) to drop in soup pots representing the two teams playing in the Super Bowl. It's a good-natured way to "vote" for your favorite team, and help raise money for MESA Outreach to feed the hungry in our community!

ONGOING MINISTRIES:

Partnership with MESA Outreach Food Pantry

Covenant is partnering with MESA Outreach Food Panty to provide non-perishable food to families in our community. MESA Food Pantry serves people from all walks of life by providing basic food needs. Each month they serve over 2000 pounds of food to approximately 100 families in need. They are particularly in need of breakfast cereals to distribute each month. This is where Covenant can help. Please consider purchasing some 14 oz. boxes or cereal, small boxes of oatmeal, or instant oatmeal or grits each month while you are doing your grocery shopping. The food is collected at the church on an on-going basis, with regular deliveries of our donations to MESA. Thank you for helping others in our community!  NOTE:  Our challenge for the season of Lent was to collect 4000 servings of breakfast for those in need, and we actually collected 4837 servings or 477 lbs. of food!!

We will take donations any time - just email the church office or call us at 281-578-8799!

Partnership with Schmalz Elementary

Covenant also partners with Schmalz Elementary in Katy ISD.  We support the teachers and students in various ways and participate in special projects from time to time.  Some of our members serve as mentors for students at Schmalz.  If you would like to apply to become a mentor or volunteer in other ways, visit the Katy ISD website
