School Supply Drive for Schmalz Elementary

We are currently collecting donations of school supplies that each grade level teacher indicates are most needed.  We will take donations at the church through August 4.  A list of requested supplies needed is HERE.

Blood Drive - August 18

The Gulf Coast Blood Center will be at Covenant with their donor coach on Sunday, August 18 from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.  If you are able to donate blood, you may schedule your appointment HERE, or just stop by during those hours.  The need for blood to save lives is extremely high, so all donations are encouraged and welcomed!  NOTE:  there are some people who previously were ineligible to give blood for certain health reasons, but the guidelines have changed, so please check out the Gulf Coast Blood Center website to see if you are eligible.  All successful donors will receive a FREE backpack and coupon for a FREE pint of Blue Bell ice cream!

Partnership with MESA Outreach Food Pantry

Covenant is partnering with MESA Outreach Food Panty to provide non-perishable food to families in our community. MESA Food Pantry serves people from all walks of life by providing basic food needs. Each month they serve over 2000 pounds of food to approximately 100 families in need. They are particularly in need of breakfast cereals to distribute each month. This is where Covenant can help. Please consider purchasing some 14 oz. boxes or cereal, small boxes of oatmeal, or instant oatmeal or grits each month while you are doing your grocery shopping. The food is collected at the church on an on-going basis, with regular deliveries of our donations to MESA. Thank you for helping others in our community!  NOTE:  Our challenge for the season of Lent was to collect 4000 servings of breakfast for those in need, and we actually collected 4837 servings or 477 lbs. of food!!

We will take donations any time - just email the church office or call us at 281-578-8799!

Partnership with Schmalz Elementary

Covenant also partners with Schmalz Elementary in Katy ISD.  We support the teachers and students in various ways and participate in special projects from time to time.  Some of our members serve as mentors for students at Schmalz.  If you would like to apply to become a mentor or volunteer in other ways, visit the Katy ISD website
